Freelance Videographer

About the role
StageNow streams ticketed live performances — Yakshagana, Talamaddale, classical music, and theatre — to audiences across India. We're looking for a freelance videographer to shoot live event coverage on location, working alongside our streaming setup to capture performances that read as premium, broadcast-quality video.
Responsibilities
- Operate camera(s) for live multi-hour performances at venues in and around Bangalore.
- Coordinate shot composition and framing with the streaming/production team in real time.
- Handle your own camera and lens kit; work with basic lighting conditions typical of stage venues.
- Deliver stable, well-framed footage suitable for direct live broadcast.
- Be available for occasional evening and weekend events, based on the performance schedule.
What we're looking for
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience shooting live events, performances, or broadcast video.
- Own professional camera equipment and are comfortable with long, uninterrupted live shoots.
- Based in or able to reliably work across Bangalore.
- An eye for stage performance — an interest in Indian classical or folk performing arts is a plus.
